Karen Garcia began her journey with OMOL Mentoring as the organization’s Hispanic Community Coordinator, helping bridge communication, outreach, and culturally responsive engagement within underserved Latino communities. Through her dedication, leadership, and commitment to youth and family empowerment, she has grown into the role of Program Director, where she now helps oversee programming implementation, community partnerships, participant engagement, and organizational development initiatives. Her leadership continues to expand OMOL’s reach and impact across diverse communities.
Bunni Pressley
Bunni Pressley serves as a workforce development instructor specializing in tax preparation education, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment. She is also a Full Spectrum Doula Trainer who supports maternal wellness, birth education, and family-centered advocacy through OMOL’s workforce and wellness initiatives. In addition, her work as an urban horticulturist helps connect participants to environmental sustainability, urban agriculture, and community wellness through hands-on learning experiences.
Lisa Moore-Weddington
Lisa Moore-Weddington serves as OMOL Mentoring’s Homeschool Director, helping develop and coordinate educational programming designed to support individualized learning, hybrid instruction, academic enrichment, and family-centered educational engagement. Her leadership strengthens OMOL’s commitment to alternative education pathways, youth development, and culturally responsive learning environments.
Ashley Mitchell
Ashley Mitchell supports OMOL Mentoring through workforce development, entrepreneurship training, and beauty industry education. As a senior cosmetologist and entrepreneur, she helps participants develop professional skills, self-confidence, business knowledge, and pathways toward economic independence within the beauty and wellness industries. Her mentorship encourages creativity, professionalism, and sustainable entrepreneurship.
Paulette Simmons
Paulette Simmons serves as a mental health advocate focused on strengthening emotional wellness, behavioral health awareness, and trauma-informed community engagement. Her work supports youth, families, and individuals navigating personal challenges by promoting access to supportive resources, wellness education, and compassionate community-based support systems.
Khalil Karim
Khalil Karim is an entrepreneur and owner of an HVAC company who brings both business leadership and community advocacy experience to ONE More… ONE Less Mentoring Inc.. As an Autism Resource Navigator, he helps families and participants connect to supportive services, educational resources, advocacy assistance, and community-based opportunities for individuals impacted by autism and developmental challenges.
